SCIENCE AND RESEARCH
Through its Science, Technology and Productive Innovation Office, UTN Buenos Aires builds research promotion strategies framed in an integral vision of the national system. For that reason, the formation of work teams coordinated by teachers and research students becomes strategic. Not only do teachers guide and give support to the projects developed in the Research Office but they also encourage and train students in their careers as Researcher Teachers.
To encourage undergraduate students and graduates who wish to pursue a career as researchers, UTN Buenos Aires provides them with financial assistance by means of the following scholarships:
– BINID Scholarship Programme for Research and Development for young university graduates
– Rectorate Scholarships for undergraduate students
– UTN BA Students Affairs Office Scholarships
As a result of these strategic actions, the number of people engaged in research activity has increased by 67% in the last three years, amounting to a total of 535 researchers.
Among the most outstanding experiences of this area, there is research in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics, image and signal processing, new polymers, solar panels, bioengineering, and a vast production in medicine applications innovation.
